yo ppl. its CNY! yay. time of the ang baos and "gong xi fa cai"s. hehe. its the time where everyone's happie. including me.

haha. the above was crap. i must have been meeting too many ppl and saying too many gong xi fa cai. haha.

went visiting todae n yesterdae. i was reminded of many relatives tt i sorta forgot they existed. XD i mean i have a HUGEE family. my granddad side consists of 120 ppl ROUND DOWN. my grandma's side probably have 100 or so. haha. hugee family. met a lot of cousins too. yepps.

shall post the entire routine here. hope it wun be a lullaby. =P

1st dae: went to my dad's cousin hse (granddad side) met her daughter(my distant cousin)and her son n daughter (my niece and nephew.) haha. i jus discovered i have a niece OLDER than me. lol! what a cute fact.

next. went to granny hse. met some relative. have nvr seen them before. jus called uncle aunty. greeted happy new year and escaped to cousins room where many of them were already engaged in games ( com. cards etc.) haha. it was so funny like the romm is some place we seek refuge in!) ate lunch before going to my granny's step-elder-brother's hse. man. is he generous. while everyone have been giving jus 4bucks or 8 he gave 20. considered quite a lot to me. :) thanks grand uncle!

then went all the way back to granny hse again. whoa it was full house. filled with many unknown ppl. again i called all of them uncle and aunty. haha. english is so coooolll. everyone is called aunty and uncle. so convienient! yepps. stayed for dinner then moved off to my granddad's cousin hse. haha. so distant rite? and yet we still go. SHE IS ADORABLE for a 80+ lady! she keep forgeting who we are. the children i mean. first she ask my dad how many kids he have. the whole convo went:

Her: aiyah! ur kids so big le! how many u got?
Dad: 1 boy and 1 girl
Her: wah! 4 kids arh! haha good good
Dad: no lah 2 onli *points out which 2*
Her: aiyah 1 boy 1 girl u sae 3 boys 1 girl
Dad: haha where got? * lazy to argue*
*everyone in uncontrollable laughter*
Uncle: hi. my kids *points to my 3 cousins* i gt 3
Her: wah good arh. whose kids are they?
Uncle: mine lah!
Her: *points to me and my brother* two rite?
Uncle : no lah 3 lah * points again*
Her: u jus now sae these 2. u all har! alwaes trick me
*we still in laughter*
Her: then these two leh? * points to another 2 cousins*
Dad: one is lye hiang (aunty 1) one is siew hiang (aunty 2) one.

then she pointed to aunty 1 son and called him lye hiang. LOL! all of us were laughing non-stop.

awhile l8r in the midst of convo, she suddenly pointed to my cousin and called out his name : SHIWEI! ur younger bro leh?

Shiwei: at home
Her: twins rite? shiwei and shitian
shiwei : ya

then something weird happened. she turned to my bro (jiayi and cousin (laijie)
and said : shiwei, shitian!'

so comical. jus finished toking to shiwei then turn to another two kids and call them shiwei and shitian!

although we laughed at the mistakes and blurness of her. inside of me im a lil scared. i mean who caould realli laugh from the bottom of their hearts when their realtives cant even rmbr lil facts fot less than a sec. i was seriously shocked at how my relatives have aged with time.

2nd dae: went to granny's younger bro's hse. haha. discovered something i nvr knew. he has a son evryone call ahde. so i tot is ah de. some funny nickname. all along i tot his name is Choo something de. then todae i found out that it's ARTHUR! omg. so much for good pronounciation. ah de = arthur. lol!

then went to uncle matthew hse a.k.a dichen of New Creation church. i go his hse evry year. but hardly remember anyone there. theres he have 12 siblings. so each of them got kids. and their kids got kids. HUGE FAMILY. the biggest part of the 120 ppl. yepps interacted alot. was reminded of issac's prescence. the guy that left me and anthea to struggle for ourselves at mediacorp. i doubt he remembers me. but in my impression he wasnt that tall. guess he grew. talked to his sis jolene. she was realli nice and i would probably go to her if i go for D.A.R.E service. yeps.

moved on to grannys elder sis hse. HER MEE GORENG ROCKS! saw another 2 smart ppl there. mum told me the two gor gor one got 10 A1s and the other got 9A1s when they took o level in RI! wow. clever. they look clever anyway.

aft all that visiting. it dawned on me that my relatives are all aging and the places i am goign for CNY is less than those on qing1 ming3 jie3. im scared. haiz. but i guess ppl come and go. thats reality. I HAVE FAITH IN LORD THAT THE BEST DECISION WILL BE MADE FOR MY FAMILY.

btw. my 3 cousins totalli shocked me. all 3 went to dye their hair. but i have to say. they look pretty good aft doing tt. great job guys. and congrats. u passed ah ma's nagging, that makes life easier for me in the future when i wanna dye hair. haha u have convinced ah ma that dying hair DOES NOT KILL! yay. haha

aniwae. HAPPY CNY TO ALL

[all i want now is health for all my relatives]

they look preety fragile now. as years pass.

i realli do hope they lead a better, happier life.

i have faith in LORD.
